Practice Makes Perfect

There is only about a month until I am going to Hollywood! Time flies fast, but I think I’ll be ready to leave by July 10th. Practice, practice, practice and then leave. I’ve been practicing my monologues for the competition in L.A. However, I’ve been practicing in other ways as well.

A few weeks ago, I was on a tour in Denmark with my school. We had created a show that consisted of varies scenes, and the show was a combination of music, dancing and acting. I played a secret agent and it was a lot of fun! My character was a kind of scary woman with attitude, nonetheless, she was also a woman with a soft heart. It was good practice to have to transition between the scary, badass woman and the soft, romantic woman.

Even though my character at the tour had nothing to do with the WCOPA, it was still helpful. Any kind of acting and performing is helpful, because practice makes perfect!
